GRAYSLAKE, Ill. – The focus may have been on safety, but there were also countless smiles on children’s faces as the Children’s Health and Safety Fair returned to the Grayslake Outpatient Center on June 7, 2025. A community favorite since its inception in 2004, the fair is child-focused, offering a fun-filled day dedicated to educating families about health and safety.
Families gathered to interact with physicians and healthcare staff, who provided valuable information on a range of topics from nutrition to injury prevention. Engaging activities, including interactive demonstrations and hands-on exhibits, kept the young attendees entertained while imparting important lessons about health.
In addition to educational resources, the event featured various fun activities, such as games and crafts, ensuring that children not only learned but also enjoyed their day.
