The Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center will operate under a new name following a significant partnership agreement. City officials and Oak View Group confirmed that Vandalia Health has acquired the naming rights to the prominent venue, marking a major development for the facility located in the heart of West Virginia's capital city.

The deal positions Vandalia Health, a prominent healthcare system in the region, as the primary sponsor of the complex. This agreement comes as the venue continues to host a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, and community gatherings. The partnership is expected to bring financial support and increased visibility to both the healthcare provider and the city's premier entertainment destination.

Financial terms of the agreement were not immediately disclosed to the public. However, officials involved in the negotiation expressed optimism about the collaboration. The rebranding process will involve updating signage and marketing materials to reflect the new identity. This change represents a growing trend of healthcare organizations investing in community landmarks to strengthen their local presence and support public infrastructure. The transition to the new name is expected to take effect in the coming months as the venue prepares for its upcoming schedule of events.
