NYC Health + Hospitals has announced the appointment of two new senior vice presidents to its leadership team. Hillary Jalon will serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer, while Manny Saez, Ph.D., takes on the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.
Jalon brings extensive experience in healthcare quality and patient safety. She previously held leadership roles focused on clinical performance and regulatory compliance. In her new position, she will oversee the public health system's efforts to improve patient outcomes, reduce medical errors, and ensure compliance with national quality standards.
Dr. Saez joins the organization with a strong background in strategic planning and data analysis. His work has centered on using research and analytics to drive health system improvements. As Chief Strategy Officer, he will be responsible for guiding long-term planning, partnerships, and innovation across the network of hospitals and clinics.
Both appointments are effective immediately. The health system's CEO noted that the new leaders will play a key role in advancing the mission of providing equitable, high-quality care to all New Yorkers. The moves come as the system continues to expand services and address ongoing challenges in public health.
