CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- The Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department released its weekly inspection reports for food establishments operating between July 3 and July 9. Inspectors visited restaurants, bars, convenience stores, delis, grocery stores, and bed and breakfasts across the county to check for compliance with health and safety codes.
During this period, several establishments received high marks for cleanliness and proper food handling procedures. A handful of others were cited for violations ranging from improper food storage temperatures to inadequate handwashing facilities. In most cases, inspectors noted that the issues were corrected on site or within the required follow-up window.
The health department reminded the public that inspection reports are a snapshot of conditions on the day of the visit. They do not reflect ongoing practices. Consumers are encouraged to check the full reports online or contact the department directly for specific details about any establishment.
No major closures or emergency suspensions were reported during this inspection cycle. The department will continue its routine inspections in the coming weeks, focusing on high-traffic dining areas and seasonal food vendors.
